The Essentials

Requirements and Benefits

A female support worker is required for this particular assignment because of the participant’s privacy and dignity needs during intimate personal care, including showering. This requirement applies to this assignment.

Warm, Experienced Support

Relevant disability support experience in personal care and the support tasks described above.

A current valid driver’s licence and the ability to provide safe transport to and from medical appointments before commencing the role.

A warm, attentive approach, with the ability to build rapport through respectful conversation.

Ability to follow current individual support and transfer instructions within your training and competency.

Clear spoken and written English for safe communication, following instructions and keeping factual records.

Demonstrated culturally safe practice and the ability to support the participant’s chosen community and cultural connections.

Australian work rights and the required screening.

Safe Appointment Transport

A current valid driver’s licence and the ability to provide safe transport to and from medical appointments remain essential before you start. If you do not yet hold the required licence, you may apply by selecting “I’m willing to obtain”. Transport arrangements will be confirmed with suitable applicants.

Checks, Training and Work Rights

Australian work rights and relevant experience are required. You may apply while obtaining your Worker Screening Clearance, Police Check, First Aid and CPR certification, “Quality, Safety and You” orientation certificate or driver licence by choosing “I’m willing to obtain” where offered. Attach your résumé and evidence for the checks, credentials, qualifications or study you claim to hold or be undertaking.

You cannot start work until all mandatory checks, licences and credentials have been obtained and verified, and onboarding is complete. Our team verifies your evidence and work rights, arranges referee checks, confirms current individual support and transfer instructions, and completes role-relevant training and onboarding before you start. A willingness declaration does not guarantee selection or clear you to work. Support must remain within your training and competency.

SCHADS Award Pay and Conditions

Pay includes casual loading, superannuation and applicable penalties and allowances. Classification is confirmed from the duties, qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

Supportive, Professional Team

Work with an organised team offering clear expectations, role-relevant guidance, training and development in a professional environment that takes participant privacy seriously.

You Are Welcome Here. We assess applicants on the role’s genuine requirements, skills and values. If an adjustment would help you apply or attend an interview, tell us what would help—you do not need to share a diagnosis.
